Kyndal Maike serves as an Associate Client Services Representative at StoryOne, where she supports advisors and client families through thoughtful preparation, intentional service, and a relational approach to financial planning. After previously interning with the firm, Kyndal joined the StoryOne team full-time with a desire to play a more active role in helping families navigate the decisions, goals, and stories that shape their lives.
A graduate of Kansas State University’s nationally recognized Personal Financial Planning program, Kyndal developed a strong technical foundation while also discovering the deeply personal side of financial planning. Through both her education and hands-on experience, she learned that every financial decision is connected to a family’s values, experiences, relationships, and long-term vision. That perspective continues to shape the way she approaches her work today. She believes that listening well and understanding each family’s story is just as important as delivering the right technical recommendation.
At StoryOne, Kyndal enjoys supporting the planning process behind the scenes, whether preparing for meetings, helping build out plans, or ensuring details are handled with care and intentionality. She is passionate about creating an experience where clients feel known, understood, and confident about their future. To her, great client service is about more than delivering a financial plan. It is about building trust, creating clarity, and helping families feel supported through every stage of life and decision-making.
Kyndal values intentionality in both her work and relationships and strives to bring a positive attitude, curiosity, and strong work ethic to the team each day.
She is especially energized by StoryOne’s purpose-driven culture and the opportunity to continue learning alongside people who care deeply about meaningful work and doing things the right way.
Her work ethic and perspective were shaped early on by her family’s farming background. Growing up helping her dad and grandparents on their corn and soybean farm taught her the importance of consistency, humility, and taking pride in hard work, even when the results are not immediate. Those lessons continue to influence the way she approaches both life and her career.
Outside of the office, Kyndal enjoys spending time outdoors, whether golfing, fishing, playing slow-pitch softball, or simply staying active with friends and family. Looking ahead, she hopes to become CFP® certified and continue building a career focused on helping individuals and families align their financial lives with their goals, values, and purpose.
