Jimmy Cahill brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to his role as Associate Client Services Representative at StoryOne. Growing up in Overland Park, Kansas, he attended Holy Spirit Catholic School and later Rockhurst High School, where he developed a strong work ethic and a curiosity about how systems and decisions shape everyday life.
Jimmy is currently completing his bachelor’s degree in Finance at the University of Kansas. While he entered the School of Business without a specific major in mind, an early finance course sparked a genuine interest in the field. What stood out most to him was how finance touches every aspect of life, from businesses and markets to families and individuals. That realization set him on a path toward a career helping people navigate important financial decisions.
At StoryOne, Jimmy supports the team by assisting with client service operations and day-to-day coordination. He enjoys the variety his role brings, along with the opportunity to interact with clients and help ensure their needs are met with care and efficiency.
Jimmy was drawn to StoryOne after meeting the team and recognizing a culture centered around genuine relationships and a shared commitment to serving others.
Outside of work and school, Jimmy enjoys spending time with friends, playing sports, watching movies, and diving into sports statistics. A passionate fan of Kansas and Kansas City teams, he admits that while he usually carries himself calmly, watching his teams play can bring out a much more emotional side.
Jimmy is excited to continue growing in the financial planning profession and hopes to pursue his CFP® certification in the future. Above all, he strives to improve each day and contribute positively to the people and community around him.
