President and Senior Family Wealth Director

Born and raised in Kansas City, Cameron always longed to see the world—often from his bike, skateboard or, even better, a snowboard. At 18, he headed to China to teach English as a second language. This sparked a passion for travel and education that would shape his future. Throughout college, Cameron embarked on transformative trips to Cameroon and Nepal, always eager to immerse himself in new cultures and share his knowledge. A year spent in Virginia’s Shenandoah Mountains led him to his beloved wife, Andrea. He returned to Kansas, earned undergraduate and graduate degrees, and spent a decade teaching in urban education in Kansas City.

Looking for a new challenge, Cameron connected with his friend John Christensen, who invited Cameron to join his financial planning practice, which fed Cameron’s passion for helping others. Under John’s mentorship, Cameron obtained certifications as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®). Cameron has served as a Family Wealth Director at Keel Point for the past eight years, working directly with families as a trusted advisor to provide individualized financial planning solutions. Throughout his career in financial planning, Cameron has found great satisfaction guiding families through financial complexities to their best possible outcomes.

His approach focuses on truly understanding his clients’ beliefs, values and mission on a deeper, more holistic level, in order to develop individualized strategies that align with their unique stories.

Today, as President and Senior Family Wealth Advisor and Founder at StoryOne Family Office, Cameron works side by side with families and business owners, combining comprehensive industry knowledge with a nuanced understanding of his client’s unique dynamics, to provide stewardship of their wealth in a way that is aligned to their vision and goals. His approach focuses on truly understanding his clients’ beliefs, values and mission on a deeper, more holistic level, in order to develop individualized strategies that align with their unique stories.

Cameron and Andrea live in Roeland Park, KS with their children Ozias, Cedar, Townes and Dwell. You can still find Cameron and family seeking adventure on their bikes and snowboards.
